Christmas party - event ideas and decoration

Hey everyone
I am back with pictures of an event I did some time ago. it is a Christmas party organised for little kids and I did the decorations for this party. This is a picture heavy post and I have a few pictures of the decorations and the stuff I made for it.

I have made everything from the backdrop to the banners.....christmas wreath to the ornaments on the christmas tree....it was super fun doin all the little things.
The return gifts were packed in a box and then gift wrapped with some handmade paper and handmade bows. The little pencils with christmas tress as toppers were super fun to make and a favorite among children....they were the party favors.
There is a small video of the Christmas tree which shows all the ornaments and I hope you all will like it.
Thank you for reading my post and I hope you all have a nice day ahead.

Love forever - Mixed media layout

Hey everyone
How are you all doing? I was on a break this month and I just started with my work 2 days back. This is my first project and I want to show you all my first attempt at mixed media layout.
I have made this project for a close person who is going to have twins and the color scheme and the concept is inspired by this fact. I have used lots of pinks and blues and yellows....did lot of textures usind stencils and modelling paste. I have used Color splash by Itsybitsy in ocean mist and tangerine...the colours are really pigmented and beautiful. They are really bright and you can mute them if you want with just water...which is really cool.

The pattern paper used from the entire background is from Papericious and well as few embellishments like the button and the laces. Their collection for papers is really awesome and I like the new sets of embellishments they have.

I started with the pattern paper from Its a girl pack from Papericious and brushed a thin coat of gesso on it and distressed its edges. Then I made my own pattern paper to creat some interest for the picture. After this was the fun part of adding textures and stencils and layers of colors.

I am putting this project up for Itsybitsy challenge and Papericious challenge of this month.
I am adding the video link for youtube to see my project. I hope you will enjoy this video.

Thank you all for visiting me and I hope you all like my project. Have a good day.

Wedding Card with a Box

Hello everyone
I am terribly sorry for not writing any sooner. Was working on this big order and it had occupied most of my time and the rest I was indulging myself with Diwali celebrations. I am still in hurry and so this will be a short a sweet post. My new project is wedding cards with an easel opening box attached to the card itself.
The dimensions for this box is 7.5" by 5.5" and 1" thickness. There are 2 leaflets or this card and they are 5.75" by 3.75".
These are multiple layers of cardstock which was used to create layering effect as well as to add to the sturdiness of the card. The first leaflet is adhered tot he face of the box and the second is hidden in the pocket behind the first card. I have added an eyelet as well as some red organza ribbon and gold pearl string as a makeshift tassel.
I have incorporated white gold pearl cardstock which are 270 gsm and Red cardstock 250 gsm to build the entire card. I have created my own background using WOW gold embossing powder, WOW embossing gun and Versamark inkpad. I did some repetitive stamping using a single stamp to create the background effect. I have used the flourish from the Vintologic stamp set from hampton art for this purpose.
To create the easel box, I have used chipboard and White iris cardstock. I center box is 6.5" by 4.5" in size and 0.75" in height. I have used gold net fabric to cover the entire box and then added a white gold pearl paper as the base inside the box. The bottom of the box is chipboard which is covered with pearl paper and then layered with red cardstock. For the opening of the box, I have used some white iris cardstock to create the hinges.
The card is completed with a simple red organza ribbon, Mft die cut florishes with are glitter gold embossed and a gold bead.
This box is held by magnets.
That's all the information about this project.
I am putting up this project at Mod Squad Challenge Blog and Ranganjali.
