Antique Lantern using Succulent Flowers from Little Birdie Crafts.

Hello guys
Today I have a new project to show you. I made this lantern from the scratch using products from the ItsyBitsy store. this lantern measures 6"on all sides and 14"in height. It tapers to the top and it measures 3.5" on all sides. the net weight is 750grams...so its pretty light but very sturdy.
It took me 4 days to design it and 15 days to build out of which 2 days I just decorated it using gorgeous succulent flowers from the stores...its a must have for every crafter. To explore the entire range of the succulent flowers....please click HERE.
I am putting this up at the following challenge blogs
  1. Creative Artiste Mixed Media Challenge#40
  2. Welove2create - Challenge #10 - Anything Creative Mixed Media goes.
  3. Mixed Media Warriors #30 - Moodboard. The lantern, the old wood panels and the colors from the moodboard are my inspiration for this lantern. I saw the moodboard and and it made me tweak my project a little.
  4. Unstampables Challenge#81 - use fancy border/ frame. - I have used a fancy borders in my project.
  5. Rhedds Creative spirit - July Challenge

I have made this project for ItsyBitsy and all the succulents you see here were sent to me by them. Apart for these, I have used heavy weight chipboard, black cardstock, acetate sheet, vellum sheet, chipboard shapes, tinted metallic paints, sisal fiber, thermocal shapes, black gesso, heavy matt gel, craft glue are also from the store.....

  2. This is so yummy! What a clever person you are - all that engineering coming home to roust! I find I have to count out carefully and redo and redo and then cut and oh no! It's wrong! You certainly have not had that trouble. I love those succulents too. So unusual. Thanks for taking up this challenge with us at Unstampabelles. Hope to see you back again for another challenge!
