Its A Boy Mini Album | Scrapbook | Carta Bella Rock A Bye Baby Boy Collection

Hello Guys

Welcome back to my blog...and today I have a new Mini album/ Scrapbook for you all. I am breaking my pattern and after a while I have made an album for a Baby boy....this was super fun to make. This album is 8 1/4" x 81/4" in size and the spine is 2 3/4" and holds 5 interactive pages. In all this album can hold 75 plus pictures and has many jouranalling tags and spots. Since this album was made on commission, the name of the child is added on the cover along with his birth date.
I have used Papericious Color Conception paper pack and Carta Bella Rock a Bye Baby boy collection pack along with plain cardstock to build this album. A variety of picture sizes can be used right from 3" by 4" to 5" by 7" and I have also added tags on the mats for accurate picture placement. This album also features a couple of pop up elements while make it more interesting....for me the family tree is the deal sealer.
The front of this album is decorated with beautiful paper layering and chipboard embellishments which I have gold heat embossed. I have never made this kind of a cover and to be honest its one of my fav as it is easy to handle and doesn't add much bulk to the album. I have used ribbon as the closure for the album which forms a fun bow. I kept the spine and the back simple so that it doesn't hinder the album when opened.
I have used chipboard elements, stickers and ephemera from the Carta Bella Rock a Bye baby collection along with Papericious Ohh Baby theme chippis and enamel dots. So the album is not girly but is cute at the same time.
Here is a video walk through of this album...hope you guys enjoy it.
