Mixed Media Art Journal Cover - See Possibility Everywhere

Hello guys
I am sharing Mixed media Art Journal Cover today with you all. I was inspired by the Lindy's moodboard of this month and I have tried to incorporate the feel of Spring in this project....wait for butterflies and sunlight seems to go on forever...
I am also participating in the March challenge @iridescentsecrets Artist Inspiration challenge part 1.
I also made a small book mark to go along with this journal....looks so pretty together....Here I am sharing a few images of my gorgeous journal also with a small clip to see it upclose.

The focal element is a delicate chipboard moth from Expressions Craft which I backed with plain vellum and colored on the back....I am in love with how it looks.
I used amazing sprays and shakers from Lindy's Stamp Gang { Products used are - California Poppy Gold Magical ShakerCathedral Pines Green Magical ShakerYellow Rose of Texas Shimmer SprayLucky Shamrock Green Shimmer Spray and Bells of Ireland Green Shimmer Spray } and varnished it all to seal the colors in. All the mixed media textures and mediums are from Finnabair and the stencil is from The Dusty Attic.

The mulberry flowers are from my stash and the chipboard elements are from Expressions Craft. I hope you all like this project.

Spring - Mixed Media | Watercolor | Shabby chic Canvas

Hello guys
I have a new project to share with you all. I made this project for ItsyBitsy as a DT inspiration for the new challenge which begins today. The theme all this month is SPRING and using Little Birdie flowers is a requirement. I have a tutorial of this project along with more pictures and list of supplies waiting for you on the ItsyBitsy blog and you can visit me there by clicking HERE.
Here are a few pictures of my canvas which is actually 40.6 cm by 50.8 cm in size....so its a pretty big one and is embellished with loads of flowers and sparkle mix.

I am putting my project up at the following blog challenges:
  1. More Than Words April Challenge -  Animal and Nature - I have used the word Nature in my project and Butterfly is the animal I chose. My project is a Nature inspired art work where the focus is on Spring season with loads of flowers, colors and butterfly as the focal image.
  2. Rhedds Creative Spirit April Challenge
