Smile - Handmade Mixed Media tag

Hello again
I have a handmade tag to share with you all today...this one is quite different to the ones I make....it is vintage themed with subtle background full of texture. Here is my tag

I have used the Aqua Medley paper pack from ItsyBitsy (Little Birdie crafts) to make this tag.......I did a lot of fussy cutting to get all the floral elements and that cute bird. The pearl drop and stencil is from Little Birdie crafts along with the paper line. To add more dimension to my tag, I clear heat embossed the fussy cut element thrice....it has such an amazing shine to it now.

The mediums and stamps are from Finnabair and I have used Lindys magical shaker to add color to my tag. The primary colors used are pink, black and brown with hints of orange which mostly got hidden. I added a lot of white and black splatters and also highlighted my texture with a black pen. I am putting this up at the following challenges:
  1. Lindy's August Color Challenge - Products used are Magical Shakers - Oom Pah pah Black Forest black , Oktoberfest orange and Bratwrust Brown magical shakers
  2. Splashymix challenge #8 - Moodboard
  3. Creative Artiste Challenge #52 - Anything Goes

Look for Love - Mixed Media Tag

Hey guys
Today, I am sharing a mixed media tag with you all. I made this tag inspired by the Lindy's Challenge of the month and the colors used are pinks, greys and browns. The work inspiration is from More Than Words Mini Challenge where the word is " LOOK"...so this is what I came up with.
I have used magical shakers from Lindy's Stamp Gang and rest of the products used are from Prima Marketing and ItsyBitsy...like mediums and gels, flowers, stamps and stencils. Here is a small video to see it much better.
I started with a 7" by 4" chipboard tag and coated it with white gesso. Then I did a little stenciling on it using a pink tinted mixed media paste. To add more texture I added a little crackle paste in few places.

Once everything was dry, I added a little color using magicals and also did some stamping with black archival stamps. My background was ready now and I started playing with flowers and embellishments like clay pieces, mirrors, chipboard pieces and cheesecloth.

Once, I was happy with my arrangement, I added a little sisal fiber and leaves(I colored those leaves with black and white magicals). I then dry brushed everthing with white gesso to bind everything together. I also added a little splatter with white and black magicals which just blends in with everything. The chipboard sentiment is from Mudra crafts and the small ones are from Tim Holts big chat stickers.

Then I attached my sentiments to my tag and added some final touches with glitters, sequins and art stones...this was my fav part. To finish it all, I added 2 butterflies heat embossed on vellum and laces to the tag. This was so much fun to make and took me 2 hours from start till the end...hope you all like it too.
I am adding my tag to the following challenges:
  1. Lindy's Earthy July Color Challenge - Products used are Magical Shakers - Oom Pah pah Pink  Cowabunga Copper, Black Forest black and Frozen Jack Frost magical shakers
  2. More Mixed Media Challenge - Anything Goes Optional pastel

Say Yes to New Adventure - Mixed media Tag

Hello guys
I am so excited to show off my first mixed media project for 2019. It definitely took me a while to get into the groove after all the parties and vacation.
I have a mixed media tag to share with you all today which was so fun to make. I have used embellishments from Finnabair ,magical shakers from Lindy's Gang and mixed media mediums from Itsy Bitsy (Little Birdie Crafts).

All the flowers I have used are handmade by me.....I made a bunch of these a while back and finally used a few today. The pretty feathers tucked in on the left are also handmade by using feather stencil and sparkle paste on clear acetate (ItsyBisty) and fussy cut.

I am putting my tag up at the following challenges -
  1. More Mixed Media Challenge - January 2019 - Anything Goes optional Blue
  2. Mixed Media & Art - January 2019 Challenge - Coolness

This year I am trying to improve my product photography skills so that is a little adventure I am taking....finding new software and improving my skill set.

Memories - Mixed Media Tag/ Shabby Chic

Hello guys
I have a mixed media tag today for you. This is a pink purple color scheme project with loads of flowers and sparkle and splatters. I have lately fallen in love with mixed media projects and cant stop making them....I have personally never done tags and this is my very first mixed media tag...so so happy to share this with you. I have made this as a inspiration for Lets Craft and Create Challenge #134 - Anything Goes = Option Mother's Day. To participate, please click HERE. I hope you all like it as well.

I started with a pattern paper from my stash from Eno Greetings...this paper was lying around for very long. I do not know what pack it belongs to, it has grey and whites stripes with light florish kinda pattern. I adhered it on a chipboard tag measuring 4.5" by 8". I distressed the edges and then added a coat of clear gesso. Once dried, I did some stencilling using Prima Marketing stencil and Modelling paste and left it to dry as well. I then, added Metallique paints from Prima Marketing. To add more interest I did some script stamping using Prima stamps.

I have used diecuts from Kaisercraft Violet crush, some flowers which I heat embossed in white on clear vellum, mulberry lillies and poppies and Handmade flowers from Little Birdie crafts. The sentiment frame is a Kaisercraft diecut as well.
The finishing touches came form White tiny pearls and Dazzle Cocktail glitter mix and splatter of acrylic paints and Gesso.  I also dry brushed all my flowers to bind everything together. My tag has so much shimmer and sparkle but unfortunately my camera failed to capture all the silver sparkle....I am so sad. I wish you all could see it in real.
I am putting up my project at the following blog challenges:-
