Stone/Pebble Plate

Hello everyone

I hope you all are having a great day.....I have been a busy with my latest project. Today I will share how to make a stone/pebble plate using few things. I am sure you guys will like it and will try to make one soon.....

Materials:
  1. Araldite
  2. Plastic sheet to cover work surface
  3. Plastic bags or sheets
  4. Stones/ pebbles
  5. Varnish
  6. Gold Acrylic colour
  7. Brush
  8. Gloves
  9. Scotch tape
  10. Plastic mixing bowl and spoon
Procedure:
  1. Firstly, cover your work surface with plastic sheet before you do anything.
  2. Now, take a plate or tray you like and cover it with plastic sheet properly because we will be applying Araldite on it and we don't want it to seep onto the plate.
  3. Put your gloves on and mix the hardener and resin tubes from Araldite box in a plastic mixing bowl using a plastic spoon properly. After mixing is complete, make a cone using plastic sheet and fill it up with Araldite.
  4. Now apply a thin coat of araldite on the plate and start laying your stones on it in anyway or in a pattern.

  5. Once you completely cover your plate with stones, start piping Araldite in the crevices and any holes you see between stones.
  6. Let it dry for atleast 12 hours before you peel the plastic away.
  7.  Paint everywhere you see glue with gold acrylic paint or any other color of your choice. Paint on the back side also.

  8. Let the plate dry for 2 to 3 hours. Once dried completely, varnish the plate twice on both the sides and now let it dry overnight. Do not forget about the curing time of the varnish before you start using it.
I have made similar more plates using a circular plate instead of a oval plate.

Thank you for reading this post. I hope you all like it.
