" Believe in Yourself " - Mixed Media Canvas Tutorial | DT Inspiration for ItsyBitsy

Hey guys
Today, on Valentine's Day i am sharing a mixed media canvas with you all which I made to celebrate love. We all wait for the one person who will be there with us forever...someone who will have your back, listen to you and come what may never leave your side have but most of us fail to realize that we have that person within ourselves.
I am basically celebrating Valentine's Day with my very first Valentine...MYSELF. Its sounds silly but I think even when you have no one...you will always have yourself...ALWAYS AND FOREVER so LOVE YOURSELF and BELIEVE IN YOURSELF.......and TRUST YOURSELF.
This is also my DT Inspiration post for ItsyBitsy and you can read a full tutorial to make this project by clicking HERE
I love pinks...its my fav color and I tried a lot to restrain myself from using it...but I finally gave into the temptation. I wanted to give this canvas a very delicate and feminine look and so I have used multiple shades of pinks, peaches, coral and whites along with hints of black, grey and beige. To achieve this look I used lacy background paper and a stencil to mimic the look.
It was really fun to play with flowers and embellishments to bring in a feminine look....and the sentiment was framed and mounted with layers of papers to add more interest to the focal sentiment. The final touches came from a lot of sequins, glitter, mico beads and splatters. Here are some more closeups of my project...I hope you all like it.

I am putting this project up at the following blog challenges :-
  1. More Than Words February Challenge - Always and Quote
  2. Mixed media Warriors #37 - All You Need is Love

Mudra GDT post - Handmade Interactive Cards

Hello guys
I am honored to be doing a GDT post for Mudra Stamps today and I want to thank you Varshistha for this opportunity...... I have made 3 interactive cards and here are the sneak peeks....for complete blog post...please visit me HERE and leave me some love.

2 of the 3 cards I made are my first time and I really hope you will be lenient with me. I also have 3 small video clips shows you all the interactive elements in action....so know the list of supplies, more pictures, videos and how I made these cards please stop by the link above.

 1. Mermaid slider card.

So this is a really fun card and to be honest...its my first ever slider card I made and it took me one day to make this card but I am sure you guys will do it faster than me. To make this card, I have used Mudra Mermaid stamp set...such a fun set with so many cute fishies.....

2. Simply Floral Explosion Box card
The second card I made is again a first attempt by me....I have never made an explosion box card and so I took a day to make this one.....but thats just me. A lot of heat embossing and watercoloring went into making this card and I got this beautiful bouquet at the end....

3. Winter Shaker Card.

My third card is a fairly simple card and was super fun to make. I have made a triple time stamped card with a shaker window in the center and this card is based on the thought of "Christmas in July" For this card, I have used Christmas Decor stamp set and sequins from different packs from Mudra.

Handmade Baby Girl Announcement Chocolate Boxes.

Hey all you beautiful people
I am back with a new project today which are handmade announcement boxes for a Baby Girl. Now these boxes were custom made to fit 250gms of handmade chocolates. I have made everything for this box from scratch and it was fun......
I am putting this box up at monthly challenges at:
1 Allsorts challenge - Week 406 - Ladies and Girls
2 Cards and more Challenge#180 - Kids/children
3 Let's Craft and Create Challenge#123 - Entwined - Used twine to hand the tags
I have few pics and a video I made before I sent out these boxes.....some might not be so good as I took them in hurry. If you want a tutorial for this plz let me know and I will be happy to do one for you. Now, the supplies used to make these cuties are listed below and you can go throught them.
I would like to thank Itsybitsy for their promptness in delivery of the papers which was incredibly crucial for this project and they got the papers to me in just 24hrs....So thank you Rashmi Harish and team Itsybitsy.
I have used White handmade paper to cover these boxes on the inside as well as outside. The bright pink cardstock is from Fabriano and the other one is from Itsybitsy.  The flourish diecuts are made using MFT(My Favorite Things) Leafy Flourish die. The other diescuts are made using Sizzix dies and embossing folder.
The tags are diecut using Itsybitsy dies and then given a little color using Picked Raspberry distress ink also from Itsybitsy.  The other little tag is fussy cut by me. I have used twine to tang the 2 tags and the box. the boxes are embellished using baby girl wooden embellishments and I have used different ones on all boxes. I got them in an assorted pack from A1 craft.
For the inside, I have added a little color using polka dotted pink paper tapes. Also I did add a little pink tissue paper shredding to bring in more color. I used baby pink in few and dark pink in the rest. The box is held together using Pink satin ribbon from Itsybitsy as well.
I have printed the messages using my printer on a white cardstock for the tags as well as for the inside.
